2025 Central Texas AGC Legislative Luncheon

Central Texas AGC recently hosted our Legislative Luncheon, bringing together members, industry partners, and legislative leaders to discuss the issues shaping the future of construction in our region. The event provided a valuable platform to share insights on current legislative priorities, upcoming policy changes, and the impact they may have on our industry.

The Role of Advocacy

One of the strongest takeaways from the luncheon was the reminder that advocacy is most effective when our members are directly engaged. By supporting the AGC PAC and Advocacy Fund, our chapter ensures that the voice of the construction industry is heard at every level of government. These contributions help us build relationships with lawmakers, influence policy decisions, and protect the interests of contractors across Central Texas.

Acknowledging Support

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended and participated in these critical conversations. We also extend our thanks to our event sponsors, Parsons Roofing, The Stevenson Group, Lochridge Priest, and Namen Howell Smith & Lee, your partnership makes gatherings like this possible and ensures that Central Texas AGC continues to be a strong advocate for our members and our industry.

Moving Forward

Central Texas AGC remains committed to advancing legislation that supports economic growth, safeguards our workforce, and strengthens the construction industry. As we prepare for the next legislative session, we encourage all members to stay involved, share their perspectives, and support the advocacy efforts that protect the future of construction in our region.

Together, we are ensuring the construction industry’s voice remains strong and effective in shaping public policy.
